Poems By Patrons

During National Poetry Month (April), the Main Library encouraged patrons to write poems for our "No Rhyme or Reason" wall of poetry. Below you'll find the poetry of our talented patrons.

"Untitled"
As I stand here staring
I wonder how you don't see
The way I look at you
The way no one knows but me

I wish I could talk to you
To tell you hoe I fell
But every time you come around
My lips are always sealed

I find myself wondering
How no one seems to notice
That whenever you'r aound
I can never seem to focus

Each time I think of you
It brings a smilr to my face
But tears to my eyes
It's a beautiful dream I chace

For what it's worth to you
I will always will be here
Unseen and unnoticed
But always somwhere near
